Cast Hall and Alumni Painting and Drawing
This is the painting I did during the quarterly PAFA Alumni Drawing and Painting gatherings that the school hosts. It brings in both some current students and many many former PAFA students going all the way back to the 60's. Its a great mixer for the school and I've met and made many friends from these past events. I set up and painted these two cast which were a lot of fun! It was a warm-cool mix which is a lot of fun to play with. The casts are a challenge between their own patina/local color and the lighting conditions and the cast hall really looks great, especially since they spruced up all the casts a few years back.

Collaboration Two
Here is my start to another collaboration with my friend and fellow painter Lexi Thomas. We worked on a little painting last week and it was fun, so I decided to start this one and then pass it off to her to see where it goes! I'll keep you posted.

Robin Hood Final
Here is the final painting for the next Robin Hood novel, Robin and the White Heart, Oil, 18 x 24, the third in the series of covers I've done for Airship 27. I'll have a link to the book when its out. It occurred to me to make the bow and arrow glow red when it passed over the body of the Deer Spirit as a symbol of violence and death. In some respects I wish I had painted this one twice the size, but oh well, I wanted to get this done sooner as it had been a while coming and the publisher was getting anxious.

Collaboration
This is a collaboration between my friend and awesome painter Lexi Thomas . While waiting around this afternoon to head out to a BBQ lexi grabbed a old canvas I re-primed and then started this cool little still life of junk on my dining room table. She left it as it was on the left, using only the old paint I had left on my palette. After Lexi left I kept looking at the painting and decided to put my 2¢ into it and spent a quick hour or so busting the rest out. It was a fun collaboration and Lexi started it off with a cool design and composition. I never collaborated on a painting before, a zillion times in comics, but never like this, and it was fun! 8 x 16 Oil
