NINJA TURTLES PAGE ONE--Inks
Here is the splash page for my issue of the turtles that I inked up yesterday featuring the old Rat Splinter. While I am working on more pencils I will start inking the batch I have already done. This was inked 99% with a brush, Winsor/Newton #3. Then I cut back in with a bit of whiteout.

I love the stylized way you drew this, perfect for the character likes he's make of spiritual smoke.
Great Job, Mike! Really well done.
i've been waiting to see this inked, it's perfect inked, it should be a black and white issue.
Looks awesome, Mike!
Awesome, I love it! You've given splinter almost a sense of malevolence. The smoke kind of makes it look like he's got a smoke for himself, and one for his date who had to go to the bathroom.
Thanks guys, this was fun to ink.
Oh, I love this one. The sense of lighting is fantastic. And I'm a sucker for good ole Winsor/Newton inking! You're one of the torch bearers, Mike!
I stumbled across this image and as a result your blog while searching for an image to work off of for a coloring tutorial and I have to say wow amazing stuff man. You are officially bookmarked hehe.
On top of that I was wondering if I could get your permission to include this image in a tutorial, someone asked how to accomplish something and I am just showing them how to do it on a forum. I will give full credits.
