Eggplant
This is the first pass at this week's homework, a painting of an eggplant. Yellow-ochre imprematura and then a purple eggplant...
Once its dried a bit I'll go back in and finish it up. Oil on massonite 16 x 12.
Thanks, its on a panel, and I think the illusion is that it's glossier than it is because I painted it to look slick. Also the panel doesn't soak in the pain like a canvas does
it looks great! I like the light and shadow interaction. How do you get it to look so glossy?
