Manley Goes to the Martians
This is the promo art for a post card to promote the new comic series I'm doing for Sequential Pulp Comics, an adaption of Fredric Brown's Classic Sci-Fi book, Martians Go Home. The first issue will be out in late spring or early summer an will be published through Dark Horse. I'll be penciling, inking and coloring the series myself and my best buddy Bret Blevins will be painting the covers. This will be the first comic series I have done in years and I'm looking forward to doing this series because it combines two things I love, Sci-Fi and Humor.

Awesome! Love the color palette! It pops! Never read the book though or heard of it, but I don't know too much classic Sci-Fi books from back in the day. This could be cool!
Hey, I was going to say awesome too! I do know the book, and I'm really looking forward to this.
Thanks Scott, yes, this should be a fun project and fun, which we know to the Babymen is a dirty word, but I hope it can reach a broader audience.
RAB, I was familiar with the book mostly due to the cover illo by Kelley Freas, it was a fun read. I hope people who read the book will enjoy the comic adaption.
Sounds cool, your style should be perfect for the story It will be great to see Brett's covers as well. Glad to hear he's alive and well, I always wondered why he stopped his blogging...seems like he was into it in the beginning.
Congratulations. It sounds like fun!
