Hello I'm Mike Manley, welcome to my studio Blog. I am veteran comic and animation artist and I created and edit Draw! Magazine. This blog is a chronicle of what's happening in my studio. Follow my process and path as an painter, cartoonist and teacher and find out how they inform and enrich each other!
First, I like what you are doing with JP. I know Baretto left some pretty big shoes to fill, but you seem to be up to the job while still leaving your own style on the strip.
Second: it seems the Comics Kingdom server is now clamping down on hotlinking and url referring, so the scrips that I use on my site to make custom Comics Kingdom pages (such as the link you use to reference a Judge Parker strip) no longer seem to work.
King Features still is listing Eduardo Barreto as the artist on Judge Parker at their site, kingfeatures.com. I am enjoying your take on Judge Parker, but would like to see a little more photo realism, ala Stan Drake. At times it's there in the strip, so I know you have it in you. :)
