This is a painting that was the result of a critique of my work in my studio by my fellow students at PAFA. in my drawing class with Mike Gallagher we all had to review each others work and then write a review of each others work. then Mike wrote a paragraph with basically combined everything into sort of a statement and we had to produce a piece based on that.
So this is what I came up with, it's in Rustoluem on cardboard and I call it Philadelphia.

The jarring and mysterious juxtaposition makes this one intriguing.
I am still learning how to paint my drawings. Do you know any tips on how
to paint ?
Thanks Uncle E, it was based on a list of what other artists found in my work and then I just pushed the idea a bit more.
Origin, there isn't space here for such an huge topic, but if you go back through my blog or follow the links I think you will find many places where you can get some basic info and a good starting place. I also suggest taking classes at some local art schools or with some local painters in your area.
