Super Sad Study
I finally hopped back on the Super sand train, here is a study for a new painting I will do, it will be pretty big, maybe 80 inches. the study is about 17-18 inches on museum board in oil.
I have to build the canvas for this so that will take me a few days to do.

Is there an element of symbolism in this painting/composition? If so, is this a new element you are trying to introduce into your figure studies? Or is it something that has been there all along and I just haven't picked up on it before? Or am I totally mistaken? It wouldn't be the first time :). Really looking forward to seeing how this one develops. I get a lot of joy and inspiration from following this blog. Thanks
