Well I feel things are getting back into the swing of it. I restarted on the commuter series,I worked back into a painting I started back during the winter for my commuter series I'm working on. I did a lot more today ad I'll post the finished version soon. Started pinning up the work I did this summer on my studio wall and its great to see my own process and a body paintings. One of the main things I'm working on now is the use of photos. For the commuter series i really couldn't do it any other way for some shots, but I am applying the same esthetic as I would when painting from observation or plein air. I am trying to work from many photos and draw from them as I would from life, without being a slave to them.
